




Talking to older parents about getting help to manage in their homes is always tricky, and is very often misinterpreted as an attack on independence and the family home. To help our client drive awareness of in-home services, we took a lighthearted approach, creating a short content video that captures a very familiar scene. And then we introduced a newfangled piece of our client’s unique ‘technology’. The video was posted on YouTube, Facebook and on the client’s website. In a category that generally steers clear of humour, the video proved to be a hit amongst the target audience on social media: adult children with elderly parents.
